working week ?

The strongest rumour at present is no pay rise end of march,instead a reduction of working hours,if this proves correct how many hours would a 39 hour full timer be reduced to.I would be in favour of this and so would my tired body.

If the hours were reduced, they would just pile more on us, our office has already been told we need to save 60 hours!!!, the fail is gonna colapse in on its self soon.

If there is a reduction of the working week they won't employ more staff.

I wouldnt be in favour of this deal , we would still be expected to do the same amount of work but in less hours and most of the runners would make it work so we would have gained nothing . I would rather and extra few quid in my pocket and keep hours the same.

Unless its substantial to maybe 35 hours,don't want this,if it's only an hour they will just say come in 12 minutes later and the idiots will still come in 1-2 hours early working for nothing saving them millions.

Absolutely.
No pay rise and the same amount of work but in less hours, that's what it will be.

This might work for full timers but what about part timers?

It's hard enough for part time staff to complete their duty on 20,24 or 30 hours a week as it is.

They should make their hour's up but if they come in before their time why should they money for nothing.
