Cant help but feel for these "unbiased" news reporters jobs!

I am worried as I am torn between 2 positions on this dispute.

1. I am all for workers standing up for their rights and what the BBC are doing includes compulsory redundancies so I have sympathy as a "Union" man.

However.

2. During our dispute the journalists on the BBC called us stuck in the past and unwilling to change. Now that their bosses will use the same Modernisation argument against them should we be so willing to support them.

If they strike they are hypocrits...the BBC was pro RM in their reporting and therefore just as bad as strike breakers...

BBC AND THE WORKERS.. Now i feel the recent Media coverage of our Offical and unoffical IA has been poorly covered if covered properly at all... The "UNBIAS" posts from the BEEB has really pissed me off as i imagine all of us union members...

Now was it a BIG BROTHER act of knowing they had problems internally and stopped the views on our struggle just to douse the flames of there own unrest???

Could be the journos had there hands tied..?? I dont know??? How many freelance journos work for the beeb or are they all under the same gaze from AUNTY BEEB???

I hope they all come out and make a statement on there own troubles and we can value the reasonings????

I for one back them but with intrepidation.....

It could be a great allied to have in our camp.... But do we need them IF Billy and Dave got off there arses and done a bit of Good PR work....????

I feel they have been far to quiet... Now this AGREEMENT they will put to us seems like a smoke screen from RM AGAIN......

:cfo :lfo I want the CWU to lay all the cards on the table and not work a cloak and dagger operation with its members..... LET US KNOW MORE BILLY AND STOP SITTING DOWN WITH PARASITES THAT ONLY WANT TO FECK US FULL STOP.....

Don't start me on that lot! What sort of job is it that can be held by all kinds of imbeciles, inbreds, drunkards and the criminally insane? There's no interview or aptitude test. You would be called a layabout if you lived like that. Her daughter was last seen doing any type of work in 1945 when, as a member of the ATS, she was filmed waving a spanner over the engine of an Austin staff car. She then marries a mad sailor with connections to the Greek royal family. They were so unpopular with the Greeks that Churchill had to make sure they were returned to the throne by sending the British Army there. Now the sailor goes off and insults India and China. That's how bloody mad he is. He doesn't insult some Pacific Island with a standing army of six lads armed with spears and a second hand Sopwith Camel for an air force. Oh, no. He insults the two countries with the biggest populations on the planet and who both have the atom bomb. Bloody nugget.
Then there's the clothes horse. Imagine her living next door? Army officers, shop owners sons, the England rugby union captain. All that coming and going! Then there's that chip off the old block she married. Talking to plants and wishing he was a sanitary towel! This is the next king we're talking about. They should be certified, the bloody lot of them. They say the Yanks think the world of them. They might do, but notice the Yanks aren't in any hurry to have their own royal family. No bloody wonder!
