As there is alot of talk of VRs coming soon what is the calculation based upon your wage. Is it just your basic pay or does delivery supplement ex phg and area money come into it?

VR payments are based on your length of service and the average pensionable pay over the 26 weeks before your Last Day of Service.
PHG supplement is pensionable so would be included. I don't know if delivery supplement and area money is pensionable.

I'm sure vr is offered on seniority basis. So with under 10 years in I'd say you have no chance! 3 got it at our place out if about 15 applicants, they all had over 30 years in

I never take notice about seniority stuff as it only numbers, even talked to the colleague at work about seniority I always ignored it and don't care about it.

It might happen if I can get a chance from this topic for aged 43 and 10 years service that would give me 41.25 weeks pay if HWDC are going to close down.

If HWDC is to be closed VRs would be offered to all staff regardless of seniority. The alternative would be to have to offer them transfers and there won't be that many vacancies at other MCs and DOs.

@Jiries. I doubt that any VRs would be before Autumn though.
