I worked for Royal mail distribution Manchester as an xmas casual from the 30th November 2015 - 31st December 2015.
I have not been paid correctly the payroll manager Scott is fobbing me around everyday, Take last monday i called and heard him say in the background this is the 4th time he has called over this and a female member of staff said just put the phone down, Iv tried to be nice and calm but now Royal Mail has ruined the start of my year.
I found myself on Tuesday morning across the road from distribution waiting for the manager to come out, I don't remember traveling there it's a major blur, I have taken this personal now i feel as though the actual staff are a close knit group and would do anything for each other but not help the casuals as the workers are above us clearly.
Today iv called HR Sheffield over my over paid tax, They told me phone my line manager which resulted in a arguement between myself and Scott, I have contacted a union person during the time i was working there and jack all came of it another fob off.
I have a list of names of people that will be dealt with not by the courts by my fists.
I have had it with taking bullshit from big companies such as yourselves, Now my temper is boiling.
I don't care what happens to me via the police end of the day prison means free food and a roof over my head of which i only have one of them at the moment so that's a win win right there.

I have every sympathy, RM is run by the absolute dregs from the scabby arsehole of society. Contact justsayit@royalmail.com. Make sure you mention every incident, contact and communication you had with the loser, name and shame him, and hopefully the higher ups will pull his pants down.
P.S. If you do see him outside the gate, do it after you've got the money which is rightfully yours.

by unpaid do you mean not paid at all??
I only ask as you say your have overpaid on tax so i'm confused
You realise RM has no say in how much tax it takes that is down the HMRC - did you send in your P45?

try to stay calm and resolve it properly, if your owed it you will get paid, i understand your frustration but its not worth getting collared for it.

Same thing happened to me many years ago. After weeks of writing to the Chief Exec trying to get it sorted I threatened them with small claims. A week later and I got my money.spiderj wrote:Begin a small claims action?
