xmas & new year

sorry its late, worked both those weeks but been A/L since and first day back today so could only address my issue today with them

my problem is for novermber & december i had been rostered 6x4 hours along with 6X4 OT ( 48 hours no days off)
my contract is 24

it seems the goalposts got moved and without telling me they altered my hours to 4x6 for both those weeks, and gave me 2 days off each week

xmas day boxing day
the monday and NYD

only noticed when my payslip was down ( was expecting 4 hours for each of those days )

seems that don't want to give me comp days for these days either

is this right ?

Defo one day in lieu for Xmas day & a day in lieu for New years day if they were your days off!

Pretty sure that instead of the lieu days, you can instead opt to be paid the overtime for those days!

You can, my boss was spewing when i told most of the guys that the option was their's if he couldn't offer an alternative day off.

you should get day in lieu for Christmas Day, Boxing Day (which is the Monday only, the Saturday was not a bank holiday so you get nothing for that) and New Years day. Btw its depressing how some managers will try tricks like this.... :arrrghhh
