It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Lost ours in May as well - although they started moving them from nights in January I think. But they are still asking people to come in early and do what nights used to do.

interesting comment, when you only have 2 night workers how much work do you expect to get done?my night duty is due to go after xmas and its all good and well people saying oh yeah well no sorting done at night so we can cut off,but what about the people that still work nights?everyone is unhappy about later starts and sunday collections going but not a word is said about rm doing away with 99% of the night shifts that is left.dont forget that alot of people doing nights are senior men that have been doing it for years,so if they have to go back on earlies its a huge change to there lifestyle.antcpfc wrote:we lost ours about a year ago.The two on it were lazy gits anyway so f**k all got done and we just sort an extra 10 mins to make upoxon wrote:Any office who just lost the nights... how are you coping without the night duties ?
