Part time to full time

I have been in royal mail 8 plus years and on the recent re pick i picked a 35 hr van share, finally after them increasing the round volume i have been given a full time contract.The wording is as follows...... Variation to contract of employment

With effect from 16/11/2015 your terms and conditions of employment will be varied due to a permant move from part time to full time hours.

Whats this varied mean is it a hidden catch? Never known anyone have that on before. I do rurals now and again as i know a few rounds but surely variation could be an endless excuse to f*ck me about hours wise etc?

Nothing sinister' varied means changed, your contract terms have now been changed to 39 hours rather than 35
