Retrained??

The new word for too slow and doing the round properly is to be retrained! They may be doing it different?i do hope they retrain me!and overtime? Fill time out and back on proper sheet and don't get it.scribble on a post it note and get it.laughable!! And all far from what you see in the courier as you can get,

They know when the courier is coming, just like they know when an audit is taking place, then that day we have nothing left in the office instead of 100'S of missorted letters and packets, and the linos put on a hi-vis, go outside and tidy yorks up!

Let them retrain as much as they want. If they want you to work to agreed specification ,including all checks and form filling and all neighbour calls, then if anything it will Slow things down even more so. It's the only threat they have besides moving you to another duty.

Just carry on Working Properly. We had one guy that was "Re-Trained" because they reckoned he was too slow. He did his Van Delivery by the book. No mail in the front (he had to go round to the rear for each new bundle), no short cuts across the open plan gardens (he used all the footpaths), No walking and sorting (waited until he was on the doorstep to do his door step check). They finished at 16.00 and guess what....... He never heard anything about Re-Training again! w*****s the lot of them!
