It is Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. All due back for start of shift Tuesday, unless it's your day off!

I'm thinking of going in on Friday to prep them and then on Saturday to deliver them.
It will make next week that bit easier and I won't have to suffer the in-laws.

We've had sad buggers coming in on their Saturday off (after the duties have gone out) just to throw off their households for the next week!

Bet the DOM loves them....all those hours he's saving towards HIS BONUS. You just can't train that kind of stupid.

It's actually an illness I think these people have. Like the one's who get treated like s**t all year then still give money in when someone comes round asking if they want to give some money for a wip rond for the lino

Rumour has it that if it's your long weekend (i.e Sat & Mon off) you can't claim the days back (or get paid for them) because they're Non-Service Days, when we're not delivering. Can anyone clarify this or is it just more Management BS?

If they told you that you cant claim ANY days then its BS.

If they told you you can't claim for Saturday then thats true, thats the only non service day. Fri and Monday can be claimed.

I've resigned myself to losing a day off .....however what's the difference with it being a Non-Service Day? It is an official English Bank Holiday isn't it? I would have thought we would have been able to claw it back as usual....or is it just a crafty way off saving possibly 10-20,000 Posties Saturday Pay? No they wouldn't do that would they?
