It all adds up
- The cost of repairing the van
- The cost of finding the guy who has been taken off driving some work to do if no-one is sick
- The cost of doing driver training for a day instead of doing a delivery
- The cost of the re-test
- The cost of paying the guy who does the re-test
Just heard that a guy was taken off his driving duty even though he wasn't the one at fault! It could only happen in Royal Mail I guess

Why is he not putting in a counter claim against RM if he is not at fault as the accusation has been made by royal mail that he could be at fault?

We had a new (ish) starter have two in one day! No other vehicle involved, no third party damage (allegedly).
No action taken, van still bears the scars.

£2500? Yeah I bet that's what an accountant would work out. But our vans are NEVER repaired (unless it puts them off the road). Our yard looks like we've all been Banger Racing! 
Not a very good corporate image...Although customers can't see half the damage because it's covered by all the crap!

I've always said, as soon as we get a new van we should "Up Armour" it with old tyres fixed to the corners and nice big bull bars front and rear!
