Quite right, even these 2 pr**ks must realize that they will not break us, we shouldnt be going back asking them to make ammendments, we should go there, tell them what needs changing if they refuse, serve them seven day notice an lets hit them with the another 4 dayer, official and then they should encourage indirectly to walk out nationally, 1months wages=£1000 it hurts but its nothing compared to what they are trying to rob out of are pensions

The British public are not what they used to be. Selfishness, spitefulness, envy, greed, all these diabolical characteristics define a British public subjected
to the creed promulgated by nefarious politicians since 1979, right through to this very day. "We have shite jobs" they whine, "We have shite pay" they
whinge. "We have shite terms and conditions of employment" they moan. "Why should postal workers be any different ?" they conclude.

Hasn't it occured to you, that the Public RELY ON US!!!!! They have every right to want to know WHY we are doing this!

After all, it will adversly effect the Public, if all these changes come into force. I'm already getting my Post at 14:30 (give or take 20 mins). If someone goes on sick, it will be even later! The Public DESERVE to know what is going on, and what we are doing about it.

Their support will be a great help, as they can lobby their MPs. But far more importantly, they need to know that we are doing this, not just for us, but for them too.

I don't think if we have another 4 day'er that we'll hold onto our picket lines much longer at our office anyway. I saw with my own eyes at our office what effect having those so close together did. Nice, fresh faces walking through the picket lines; faces which had supported the strike whilst the 1 day actions were in force. I'm all for action but lets get back to the 1 day rolling ones and quick before they manage to get rid of any backlog.

I'm sorry to hear that. But please take a minute to read my reply.

The whole point of this Strike, is to cause maximum disruption to RM. Unfortunately, that also means that we are disrupting the Public, and other Businesses But it is unavoidable.

The fact is, that some of the proposals from Leighton and Crozier are already beginning to cause problems for the Service, and there is more that they haven't forced in yet.

It is easy for people to get angry and frustrated. Especially considering how long this has been going on. But please. Direct your anger towards those at fault. NOT towards the Public!!!!!

I joined RM in order to help provide a Public Service. As such. I will fight to defend it from "Fat Cats" such as Leighton and Crozier, who simply want to strip it's assets, and prepare it for sale to the highest bidder (no doubt with a Golden Handshake). :lfo :cfo

I also object to the drastic cuts in our working conditions, although the amount of any pay rise is of little consequence to me (and the majority of people on here too) so long as they at least come to a reasonable compromise over their so called modernisation plans.

As this site is available to all, you will find extreme views on both sides. But at least that way, you don't need to worry about censorship.

It is unfortunate that you were offended by some of my Collegues, but if you look in the Customer Forum, you will find plenty of derisory comments about us.

My point is: please read as much as you can, to get the full picture. Try not to take offensive comments to heart, and defend yourself against them. That's what we do.

After all. I know as well as you do, that not all Customers are against us. So please accept the fact, that we aren't all against you either.

I am a strong supporter of the union, but as said before their handling is really starting to undermine moral.

Another 48 hrs strike will be differcult to get support for thanks to those clowns. We will be lucky to hold the line with one day strikes!
