When will parcels and packets slow down before christmas?

Both , easily triple what we usually collect outside of Christmas pressure , roll on Wednesday !!

Specials will start to ramp up more now, say you get a sleeve of specials from your local MC normally, you'll probably soon get 2 or more sleeves and a york or more of large specials

It will be flat out till after Christmas now. Then folks all get a week + off, get bored and hit the internet ordering more stuff. So in the new year we get hit again.
Don't get me wrong its good revenue and all that but we will all be long sick of it by then.

That must depend on offices. Our office it will be mad this week, calm down a little next week with more 24hr tracked and specials and then you start to get all the spring catalogues after xmas. I certainly wouldnt say our office hasnt peaked yet, I think we are already in peak with a busy week ahead.

Big parcels will have peaked, or at least peak tommorow. mail will get heavier over the next few days as will smaller packets

Have heard reports that Royal Mail is expecting one of its busiest days of the year today at certain mail centres with extra staff, parcel sorting machines and delivery vehicles being drafted in. So imagine what tomorrow is going to like on deliveries........

Really and who's going to drive them because all the staff are dropping like fly's and we have no other staff in delivery maybe we can get some elf's off Santa if not some reindeer for pulling the York's out of the way!
