2.7.7 The level of part time Employees’ contracted hours will be reviewed by the
Employer and the CWU locally on a six monthly basis. Where appropriate,
increased contracted hours will be offered to reflect the hours actually
worked and planned.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Don't hold your breath I have been pushing for this through local rep and area rep but not getting anywhere atm, 29 hour contract been working 39 hour on same duty for over a year. Suits RM to have part timers doing o/t their idea of/next best thing to zero hour contracts. If i was to be driven into and injured, not able to work whilst working for RM, they would quickly drop me to 29 hours sick pay leaving me to rebudget for bills etc despite working full time for over a year now. Good luck. And any response with how beest to proceed with this is most welcome.
