route changes in Parcelforce
Can anyone advise please..I have been allocated a route which has now bedded down and I'm settled well in,,I've now been informed that my route is going to be franchised out to an owner driver and I'm going back to being a depot bitch even though other drivers who have started after me,and are relatives of the depot management team have been allocated 11 hour routes..where do I stand on this please as I cannot run my life on variable hours.

Re: route changes in Parcelforce
It depends. Did you sign for the route or was it just one that you have been doing because it was vacant?

Re: route changes in Parcelforce
no one signs for a route..as I understand ,it was a condition of a recent pay deal that all drivers would be flexible insofar that if a driver hasn't turned in,then his route would be split and postcodes would be allocated to the adjacent postcode to the relevant drivers.,just wondererd if they could franchise out mine or any route,,and by doing so,,would that alter the O/D F/T driver ratio in the depot.

Re: route changes in Parcelforce
I've never heard of a depot run like that. Perhaps you should ask on the Parcelforce forum for a better answer.
