LETS GET RID OF THE strike breakers>
I will be putting something to conference next year to get rid of the dirty no good scum we call strike breakers. I believe that one scab in a office is one to many and that they should in no way benifit from our hard and painful industrial action.
they are the lowest form of life and should be treated as such.
I'm aware that managers monitor this site so I hope they understand that we will treat the scum the way they should be treated and that if you have any B*ll**ks at all you will understand what it is like to have to work with such scum. !!!!!!
P.S If you managers stand up for yourselfs, nationaly and localy, we would could make our working lives so much better and also give the best service to the public in the world.
UNITY IS STRENGHT.

"Unity is strength", except if someone happened to disagree with your stirke which in your eyes make them "scum".philasurus wrote:I will be putting something to conference next year to get rid of the dirty no good scum we call strike breakers. Ever heard of divide and conquer, the management are laughing at your simplistic views and using it to destroy the Union.
If flexible working is to be a locally agreed issue, this is a real coup for RM as it means only localised action not National, if the CWU have agreed this then the strikes served no purpose other than to lose money for the workers

strike breakers had a vote on industrial action. If the the vote had gone the other way we would have been expected to stand by the decision. I agree with the original poster, Feck them off out of the union. Do you honestly think the scum would abide by localised action? I think not, considering they couldn't even abide by a National ballot, I believe it is you that appears to be taking a simplistic view of a bunch of low life twats that will gain from our success.sparkx wrote:"Unity is strength", except if someone happened to disagree with your stirke which in your eyes make them "scum".philasurus wrote:I will be putting something to conference next year to get rid of the dirty no good scum we call strike breakers. We went back yesterday and had to work near 2 strike breakers from the unofficial action, one who was boasting about the overtime he got while scabbing and another just loud mouthing about the amount of work he done while we was all out. To make matters worse some people was happily talking to them, but I know the majority felt nothing but contempt towards them. I agree with the first post, they are happy to have the union at their beck and call but wont support them when the chips are down, rip their unions cards up and throw it in their faces!

I'd be happy if nothing moved in this country unless it was a union member making it move. I never talk to strike breakers, unless its the CMA office boys, and then only if I have to on a work related topic.
The Industrial Workers of the World. The union whose members never scab!

Email to Dave Ward
Dear Dave,
As a member of the CWU for many years, I would be grateful if you could give me some answers to the following questions:
How it is within the unions power to expel any of it`s members for belonging to a political party, namely the BNP? The reason given in 'The Voice' magazine, as quoted by TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber, was that "they work againt trade union principles".
I should also like to know how the CWU comes upon this information. Do they rely on members to provide this information voluntarily? Or is there some other method whereby this information is obtained?
I should make it clear that I am not a member of any political party, be it the above or even fact the Labour Party (whom by the way I do not believe we should be funding particularly given their recent attitude to Royal Mail workers). But then again, maybe you already know this!
Given the above, I would like to know if you intend to expel those union members that have crossed official picket lines during this dispute, especially those that have crossed every one. Surely that is the ultimate betrayal of trade union principles? I have seen notices of the unions intention to do this. If this is so, when will it be carried out? Can it be done or is it against the law?
I look forward to your reply,
Yours faithfully,

Understand what your saying, but that don't even cover Billy boys wages for the year, so it's a nothing to the gravey train realy and whats more we don't have to represent the strike breakers if they are not members.
The one thing that is sure is that, they will need us before we need them, and I can tell you that I will never represent one of these dirty stinking bits of sh#t and will treat them like the scum that they are for the rest of my life.

I hear what your saying and understand the rules, but this is about making sure the scab scum understand where they belong in this world and thatis at the very bottom of a very big sh#t heap, and if they dare to try and get out of it, they will find me sh#ting on top of their sticking scaby heads.borderscot wrote:If they ask for your assistance when they are in trouble you could leave yourself open to "disciplinary procedures" if you refuse to go in with them........................ however you do not have to do a very good job speaking on their behalf
some good news I have just had a call from my night rep and management have just suspended a scab. I said that they would need us before we need them.

i generally think strike breakers should be taken out of the union, however a scab mite have a genuine reason for coming into work on strike days, for example a scab came to me after the strike and genuinely apologetic said sorry to me that he had no choice but to come into work as the debt collector was after him and he just couldnt afford to loose that kind of money, couldnt say owt to the guy but just felt sorry for him, what do you guys have to say if a scab who is in the union was in this kind of position?
