HI guys and girls,
I have been with royalmail now for 4 years and recently they decided to take me off my round and my training starts friday. 2 new members of staff and one I have been training up today(which I must add no one told me I can get paid for this even tho I'm not a work place coach) and some brief training mon. Do they have the right to take me off my walk I have been on now for around a couple of years?? 5 new walks I have to learn before santa arrrives as I will be a float and covering days off.
what are the reasons for this? rumour has it the guy before me on float kicked up a fuss and hated doing it

Re: CWU walk/round question?
Have you signed for your walk in a resign after a revision?
If not they can move you
if you have they can still move you but you can fight it

Re: CWU walk/round question?
no signing since the old days which was before I started in oct 2011. We had our revision and my walk was a van share an early van share. then two walks were spilt into two seperate HTC walks. The boss said it would be more of a task to train two new guys on floats and would make more sense on putting someone in on it with indoor and outdoor knowledge. Maybe I should embrace change? but I lose my christmas tips!! I guess once i pick it up but it's so close to christmas
