Management are frequantly using casuals and agency staff rather than rproperly esourcing internally, e.g not making PT up to FT

Agency workers being brought in when not needed as there are plenty of part time staff that can be made up.

And the area manager is a complete muppet.

PLYMOUTH WALKOUT

Post by UNION JACK »

Plymouth delivery offices walk out today due to using agency workers on delivery without using part time workers first.

Good on them!! What concerns me is when local offices and reps Insist there are PT who want to go FT, why is Ward and Gibson not doing more.

No service updates if its gone into a 2nd day yet.
Not sure if it can be done, but if the reps at those offices could set up a "just giving" type account to help those willing to stand up to RM.
can't be easy to give up wages, especially this time of year, may even hopefully have a snowball effect and make other offices affected by the same problems stand up and take notice.
I'd gladly donate to share amongst those fighting for all our rights, sure any left over would go to a local charity.
