It varies from person to person depending on the contract you are currently on.
Could be one/three/six/twelve monthly, or long-term with no renewal date.

what i meant was that everyone at my DO is going on about the term and conditions part of our contracts are being reviewed sometime in the near future

Something about that in waste-time-learning this morning. Usually means bad news and stitch-up under the radar of the Union, but in this case I believe it's pension stuff and just changes in legislation being reflected.
