Changing a duty start time .
Hi can some one tell me what the proper way to change a duty start time , and even if they can . We have a duty that is 6.45 till 14.23 five day week . Manger now wants to change to 9am till 5pm . Reason wants collections put on it to cover a girl that is going of to have a Baby . Can any one tell me if he can do this , as I am afraid CWU REP IS IN HIS POCKET and is happy if no problems on his wee world .

Don't think he can do that, he can change work content, but not duty time until next resign

He can change it all he needs to do is give reasonable notice
if the office don't want the change to happen they should follow the ir process and get the rep to lodge a stage 1 disagreement over it and insist on status quo until resolved, rep does not have to agree with the office he just needs to do his job and follow their instruction
