Hybrid duties stealing overtime

Hi

We have 4 new starters and they all have hybrid rounds (delivery/collection). Since they have started the overtime as run dry. Their taking the lapsing that no one does and the rounds where the duty holder is of sick. I rely on doing overtime to keep my head above water. Is this the case in other DO's?

You need a higher paid job if you need to rely on OT to live.

What hours are the new starts on? 25? Perhaps they need the overtime to make their hours up?
Either way they have done well to get their own hybrid duties - took my lino over 12 months to put me through driving assessment, and I'm still a reserve getting punted here, their and everywhere! :sad:

The poster may not have full-time hours and therefore needs the overtimet to make wage up

Would you like to do a Hybrid duty? they were the last ones to be picked in our office no one wanted them!! Maybe your manager is resourcing to workload all agreed by the CWU.
If you rely on OT unlucky sorry state of affairs to get yourself in!

Our hybrids work 1000-1800 - so for sure they'll be mopping up at the end of "our" day ... nowt wrong there ...
"We're under model" - oh no we're not - stick your lapse elsewhere ...

How do they have the time to do OT? My hubby is on a hybrid duty, his supposed delivery finish time is 2.30 but he never normally gets back to the office till at least 3 and his collection starts at 3.30 so that is precious time to grab some lunch. He's constantly under pressure to take more out on delivery than he should as others in the office don't have a problem booking extra time but he just can't do that and have time to eat.

fulltime contract would be a big help hard to get by on pt one :sad:
