Best performing postcode areas for our latest Quality of Service results

We can now reveal the best performing postcode areas based on our Quality of Service results for the first quarter of the 2015-16 financial year.

The top five postcode areas for delivering First Class mail the next working day are:

Carlisle (CA) with 96.7% of First Class mail arriving the next working day after posting
Canterbury (CT) with 96.4%
Enfield (EN) with 96.2%
St Albans (AL) with 96.1%
Preston (PR) with 95.8%

Well most D/0s clear day in day out so I'm a bit puzzled how these league tables are calculated.

Looks like "tracked packet" first time delivery percentage score to me ??? If you try the recipient and a couple of neighbours and get a nil result... then hey that's life So why are league tables produced.. they serve no real function... but rather show areas of the country... or an area of a specific town where no-one is at home when we call (perhaps they're out working or at college or university )
The idea that delivery officers who regularly return with "Tracked Items" or "Amazon Scanned Items" aren't trying had enough... is quite frankly PANTS. Have a great holiday folks

Nope nothing at all to do with tracked, except that the panel member may have received a tracked item to record.

I don't think it applies to North region, the guy has destroyed Scotland and is now destroying NI all because he wants a bonus...........maybe it's time to report all the failures directly to Postcom.

Because as our union rep keeps telling us "You should be thankful you have a job and work 43-44 hours per week and get paid what we are paid or carry on working 39 hours and end up on minimum wage"

Bloody SHOULD be 100% every day, when there are 5 or 6 linos sat on their pc's and arses all morning , anything left in should be taken by them , what do we employ them for???
All down to this lot NOT managing.
All we need is a dom and underdom, they do little as well because the 4 in rle and 3 in counter and dom support do all the other work so why have 5 or 6 linos as well !
