Just a quick question. Is your DO as crap as ours? Some examples

1. No annual leave granted
2. OT not paid
3. Managers hiding in offices
4. Managers out on delivery
5. Sector manager flown in from Scotland every week to do a job ……..also another manager flies in does that not cost a lot of money in flights and hotels??????

I work in Belfast North unit, our managers are awful……..

It's becoming a joke now, managers should not be doing our job, they are letting too many staff go on VR, and expect more and more lapsing. Has anyone done any 'training' recently and wandered wtf it had to do with the day to day reality of what happens in a DO?

Sounds like my office (except we haven't yet got the the Scottish managers in) I have a feeling that the whole NI sector is close to total collapse.
It's a good job the new director is there, making a total screw up of everything must be his specialty

yes NI area is in free fall at present, our managers having a clue ffs, the place today is a mess and guess what my request for 1 day off 2 months from now has been refused by my dom.

Overtime is now banned in our office irrespective of how much mail there is. You just prep into your frame what you think will keep you out to your time and leave the rest to the next day!! Oh and you must take your lapsing as well, this is a directive from senior management. The downward spiral commences
