lapsing
We always get told that if we have some lapsed walk and we can't complete on that day we bring back some of our own delivery not the lapse part. Just a way of bullying you to work over your time but is there anywhere in agreement that states the additional work ie the lapsing should be left

Re: lapsing
If you have to cut off you should not be lapsing/absorbing period, this affects the QOS and 'should' be a big no no,it's part of P&M 2007.
Get higher reps on to it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: lapsing
I had similar issue when i informed manager i would not have time to do any lapsing he told me to take it out anyway,i refused to do so as this would be a pointless exercise. They did nothing,i left the lapsing in.

Re: lapsing
There is no agreement to leave lapsing as lapsing should only be done when traffic levels are low and it's to fill your day up.rockypostie wrote:We always get told that if we have some lapsed walk and we can't complete on that day we bring back some of our own delivery not the lapse part.
