You poor man.
You can go on any number of courses(and some of them might even be helpful ) the main one to start is Union Skills 1 which involves you rubbing two sticks together and making grunting noises and scratching your ass,well mine did, but this course is supposed to give you a good grounding in union matters,you should ask your branch sec to send you for the course either regionally in which case you can get home every day or go to the piss up at Alvescot lodge and stay for a week if your lucky.

Usually as a new No.2 the first course you will probably get to go on is the Equality and Diversity one as HQ get's in a tizz if you don't do it, and it is Mandatory to go on this course.
Invest in Valium and a shiny shirt like the one that Frodo Baggins wore underneath his main shirt for all the backstabbing twats at your gaff.
Oh and the iwt is a right load of old bollocks as well,just blag it if you have to go in any resource meetings as the DOM won't have a feckin clue either,especially if you ply him with some custard creams .
