Full time round to be made part time

We have a vacant full time round which is to be advertised in a couple of weeks but the manager is saying that he is making it a part time round but I know it cannot be completed on heavy days as a part time round, is there a procedure to follow, we have no rep at our office.

You do know that the Indoor and Outdoor elements of walks are separate? In reality, there should not be a full time or part time round...

A part time round can be done by someone who preps and deliver the whole of the walk. Or if could be covered by someone who has the walk thrown out (completely including parcels, kill offs and redirection or almost complete or partially completed if it is a big town office).

If the walk is too big in terms of the Indoor part then the part timer should ask for help with the mech or so...

However, why do you think it might be a problem on busy days?

im a 35 hr bod so all I do is prep and deliver and on Wednesdays and Thursday's I couldn't complete it in my hours, it has always been done by a full timer but the gist of the problem is if they get there own way it's another four hours out of the office.

i'm guessing its a duty on its own where the full timer before got looked after and didn't do any indoor sorting?
duties next to me are currently getting 3 to 4 hours extra combined prep time per day with overtime than our pairing and quite regularly leave in too, yet on their day off no favourites and get it done in the hours you're supposed to.
guess its a case of if your face fits, and it does happen
