Where's Billy Hayes

Well since the election there's been neither hide nor hair of the fellow seen or heard. Has he now retired with dignity, which as I recall was one of those terms often used, or is he still being paid as a union representative in some sort of sinecure position?

Billy is still very much alive and active on Twitter at present backing Jeremy corbyns assault on labour leadership so may find him being his campaign organiser or something like that in the coming months.

He did say goodbye in The Voice but the rumour from CWU HQ in SW19 was he was not seen very much after the election result maybe working from home
