What's the maximum my manger can delay a transfer once he has been given notice by my new line manager/recruitment services.

Theoretically a few months but then only if you are pretty much irreplaceable ie doing a special task which will take a while to recruit and train against, but if your just a normal postie then he would have a hard job justifying anything more than a week or 2 if you put in a grievance

It should be 28 days but don't be surprised if your kept longer.I've been kept nearly 2 times that after my agreed date.They will just spout "operational needs"
Even a e-mail to the justsayit team did naff all.
