Hi All,
I transferred into a new office in January 2013 and missed the allocation of annual leave for 2014, I then applied using the multiple choice form for leave this year (2015) and its all been refused bar one week that i took earlier this year. I have just applied for my weeks for 2016.
My Wife works for the NHS and has changed to 4 different departments in the last 12 months and now she has just been allocated two weeks summer leave.
I still have 4 weeks 2 days to take and have applied for the same weeks as my wife and it has been refused again.
This will be the 2nd year i have been unable to take any holiday with my wife and children and i am really frustrated by it, I have read the family friendly policy and don't feel i will qualify for that and just wondered what my options are other than having a week unpaid.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Cheers

Re: Annual Leave Question.
How is the leave allocated in your office? ie what sort of system do they use to decide who gets what week?
