Travel disruption/Tube strike query

if an OPG has major problems travelling to his/her unit during the tube strikes, can they report to their nearest DO as they might do in severe weather?

That's a good question I would think so. In my office I think the last time it happened the dom said if u could still get to work within 2 hours then u had to come in.
