Special leave.

Post by BB brother »

Hi Guys
Just a quick bit of help.
A friend of mine at work has probs at home and the manager refused him 5 weeks unpaid special leave.
Is that the end of it ?

Many thanks.

Has he any annual leave left that he can use , I had to take all mine in one go once because of a personal problem and they allowed me to do so , if he takes as much leave as he has left surely they will give him special leave for the remaining time he needs

Also can't see why he can't have it off,it's unpaid ffs, also with it being summer (does he want it now?)and summer lapsing and the extra holiday slots that can come out of it.
Drop in traffic ect yadda yadda bullshit...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
