Told today by are Manager that they have put extra resorces in for the morning to get us out earlier....But i said if we come back eailier then ,you will make us work till are time and send us back out with more work ,IN THE HOTTIST PART OF THE DAY........CHEERS THEN

Is there any reason we can't start and finish early like we used to? I know they probably made something up to just get rid of night and early shift allowances, but I think if we had a vote on it most would say stuff the old allowances and want to get done by 12 again, I certainly would. More stuff is css sorted, which is supposed to be faster, so why not?

The work doesn't come into MCs early enough to allow that to happen

I do often wonder if some people are looking for any old excuse to complain. Don't get me wrong, health and safety is important but we get sun every year. We're provided with long sleeve shirts, hats, and a water bottle.

I'm sure this isn't as much as issue when we are sunning it up on our holidays.

We won't be going out early as we have been told they cant get the mail any earlier. Also due to get Rugby world cup tickets which will no doubt need signing for. Today was a light day but the heat was energy sapping, tomorrow with be tough.

This is true ,mail can still be going through an ILSM at 05.15 and then on to a CSS machine
in our office or sent out to an MPU elsewhere hence RM's need for the later start times.
