Wallington week

Can somebody explain to a numbskull like me how this works. I've asked around but not got a definitive. What about if your on part time contract, 20 or 30 hours?

let say 30 hours. (that is 6 hours a day)

You will work 6 days a week for five weeks then get a week off on the 6th week.

You will work 36 hours a week and every Saturday pay will be kept for 6th week. So you will earn for 30 hours in normal week and wallington week off.

Downside is you used up extra day for holiday as you will take up 6 days a week.

so if its not rocket science can you tell me why we lose a weeks holiday when on wally week off

you don't lose a week

you use 6 day for a week off instead of 5

you use the same amount of days

ie 30 days on a 5 day week is 6 weeks 30 days on a 6 day week is 5 weeks
