As title states, how long does someone have to hold a duty that is "temporary" before it becomes permanent? Are there any legal precedents or RM national agreements to support this?
Thanks

It doesn't become permanent, even if held on temporary basis for a long time the duty should still go up for signing and then the most senior person who wants it will get it

Thanks, Is there any agreement to say how long a duty has to be vacant for before it is put up for advertisement or is it down to union/management to decide how long?
