Covering walk for career break
Does anyone no how this works as I have been covering for last year someone's walk whilst he was on a career break dom says when he is back he will go back on his old walk he started 6 months before me so is more senior but has had a year off so does this not make me more senior as I am now quite happy to stay on this walk but dom says I need to go back floating is he correct and being fair?

And does the person on the break have something on the DOM!? To go straight back on his duty!All service within an appropriate grade whether on permanent or temporary basis will count for
seniority purposes, with the exception of any periods worked on a casual contract, or during a career
break or sabbatical.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
