NEW CONTRACT

Post by richiebroon »

I have recently come to the end of my 6 month contract with RM after starting work with the company last November. I was under the impression from management that after 6 months I would be a permanent employee. I have today received a new 3 month contract in the post up until August. Is this the norm these days? Rolling 3 month contract?

Yes, the standard seems to be to keep it rolling for 2 years then wait for the CWU to push for a permanent contract. You have joined the CWU haven't you.
