Can someone tell me if there is a fixed amount per hour for a buy down please.
Having a revision of collections in our office. My collection is the only collection shift that isnt a schedule. Was originally told by rep that my hours wont change as its the o/t shifts (schedules) that would drop hours but i might get more collection points added to my shift.
Now been told they planning to make me 25hr from 30hr which i think is bull because it feels like "they" are taking some hours from me to prevent losing too many hours from their schedule collection. Other guys that do the schedules but arent part to the 'elite' agree the rep & his goons taking the mick.
Dont get me wrong as the rep does his best to keep as many hours in the office as possible and will drag this out as long as he can. He hasnt even mentioned a buy down if they want me to lose some hours.
Just want to know what buy down rates were if such a thing exists.

If you volunteered for buy down, the MTSF 2010 terms would apply:

Buy Down (hours) Policy
5.4 The Compensation Payment will be an amount equivalent to the compensation otherwise payable to the employee in accordance with the Voluntary Redundancy Terms multiplied by A/B where
A = the employee's contracted hours immediately following the Buy Down and
B = the employee's contracted hours immediately prior to the buy down.
