hello,could anybody tell me if sa holders will get their yearly lump sum,i received my payment last may but nothing so far.i tried talking to the union but it was like banging my head against the wall!thanks in advance

i believe they have stopped paying the twice yearly lump sum and pay you your sa duty when your on leave and if it falls on a bank holiday thats my understanding

My SA was due on Bank holiday Monday, May 25th. My manager said i don't get the payment as its only paid when your on annual leave. Was he correct or should i have been paid?

if you hold a sa contract on a bank holiday monday you get paid for it not just if youre on holiday its all in the agreement

I had nothing in my pay this week from last weeks holiday I'm not signed for my rest day working but do it regular and do 10 hours plus of collections SA every week so I should of had my 12 hours SA payment shouldn't i ? Who puts this through the Lino or hr ?

The lino should be putting through your sa. We had this problem recently in our office, but everyone got backpaid for what they were owed, including sa for bank holidays. We had to do a resign for the sa and it states in the paperwork that you get paid your sa when you are on holiday and on bank holidays. It's up to your lino to get up to speed on the rules.

The manager is away this week. Spoke to the stand in manager who agreed it should have been paid. Its been backdated so hopefully get it next week.
