now apparently the fault of ourselves
fell down stairs ,slippery footwear due to teeming rain ,wooden and lino flooring on stairs,distraction from noise causing one to lose concentration on descent,slipped and fell down whole flight of stair ,was holding hand rail couldnt stop myself.
MY FAULT not paying due course and attention ffs it was a fall
on interview mgmt now asking if you had min of 20 min break btw i did have
beware guys they are going to blame fatigue with accidents on lack of break on yourself
and what does area rep and h&s say

My advice

Photograph the flooring,the handrail everything from the stairs to the soles of your shoes.

Measure the width of the steps to see if they comply to building code etc.

Also what footwear had you on,then double check with manufacturer to see if they are slip rated,dimensions etc.

As u know the procedure isn't meant to be blameworthy but certain management are trying to use accidents to conduct staff.

You had an fall while completing your duty although you have not mentioned in your post if you have sustained an injury but having fallen down the whole flight of stairs you will probably feel the effects in the next few days.
Demand that this accident be recorded in the accident book as this can not be refused.
It is then up to management to investigate a risk assessment of the property on how to proceed with this matter.
It would be beneficial to you if you can take photographs of the stairs as already mentioned to support your right to have this recorded.

You can appeal a blameworthy. You need to get your H&S rep on the case. There is a time limit.

would all depend on what is in charge of your office
had 3/4 at me the dim ,lino,the photographer etc
you know who i mean
ripped the photographer a new one

have not been found blameworthy yet waiting on investigation
have asked for full documentation of everything said and documented

Make sure they write down that you're blameworthy....

Then ask if they think you are self harming
