D2Ds after a bank holiday

We have seven d2ds next week and I would like to know the protocol when a reserve is covering a walk on the Tuesday, will I have to take out Monday and Tuesday's d2ds?

There is no agreement on a percentage a day. You do what ever the local office agreement is to cover the d2d for bank holiday week. It may well be 20 percent but there is no national rule or agreement on this.

On bank holiday weeks we must deliver them im 5 days not 6, a pain i know but i went high up with this question & was given that answer.

im a floater we cover the loops for that day,,,,so on Tuesday me and my p&l partner will do the 3rd and 4th loop....bank holiday or not

I can't see it's an overtime issue, I think the 20% option seems more fair, a workmate seems to think I should only do Monday's and the regular person on that walk does the rest.

Should have been planned at the weekly resource meeting.d2d are to be done over 6 days is 1/6 a day but doing 20℅ isn't unreasonable ,but 2 days at once isn't fair on you .

t's quite simple really, Royal Mail quite rightly want you to work all your paid hours. The union want you to work all your paid hours, it is the only way to protect jobs. With that in mind, do what you have time to do on a daily basis regardless of bank holidays.

There is zero direction from management on this at our place. So long as they are all gone by the end of the week, they don't give a monkeys who delivers them. Generally, all of Monday's and Tuesday's are put in the frame at the start of Tuesday after the holiday and they are only taken for where there is mail that day, the rest get covered during the week, or finally taken on Friday for those places with still no mail. (at our place all our D2Ds are done Mon to Fri usually, none on a Sat). This seems fair to all - there's extra prep for the person on the Tuesday but no extra delivery points which would only have had D2D on that day.
