Got referred to a specialist after getting Tenosynovitis (inflammation of the tendon sheath of the hand) one cause is RSI
Extreemely painfull and unable to make a fist or hold a bundle of mail and how long did it last ?

Morning.
I had tenosynovitis of both wrist years ago caused by long stints on the coding desks.
Silly things like holding a knife and fork at meal times was a problem.
I had to keep putting them down.
Holding a umbrella was a no no as well.
Very uncomfortable to live with.
The ONLY cure is to stop/reduce the activity that is causing it.
Anti inflammatorys and pain killers can help.
But tenosynovitis and other Rsi injurys are a long time coming and just as long going.
Keeping the wrists and joint strong and flexible also helps a lot as well
But the only proper cure is time and rest.
