If it makes sense yes. If not - No.

It is a reasonable question to ask how far it will take you over, but it can be asked in an unreasonable manner.

I'll be honest the list of reasonable questions and reasonable responses (and the opposite) is inexhaustible, its down to your perception and their approach.

Asking your reasoning on why you forecast a particular amount is a perfectly reasonable question, it's his job to try and fix any issues your having so asking you to explaining any work load issues is reasonable

I throw a full walk in on one section of the office for a part timer, i then go on my own walk on another section to which this manager is responsible for, he won't fix any issues because it will mean treading on the toes of the other line manager. He "spied" on me on my walk on friday, i told my union rep about this and the constant questioning. The union rep asked him on monday if he had any issues with my duty, he replied "no" .

just because you dont think he wont fix the issues doesnt mean he is not going to do his job, end of the day it is actually his job to ask questions on why you are not completing, if you are being singled out then you may have a case for claiming he is bullying you but everything you have so far posted actually sounds like a manager actually doing his job, managers are supposed to monitor posties on walks, they are supposed to question over time claims, they are supposed to make sure everyone is signing in and out, he is not doing anything wrong by doing these things... unless he is only doing it to you

It saves `thinking on the hoof` and what hes really trying to do is catch you out on your answer even though you have done nothing wrong. On busy days make a note of times - start prep, finish prep, unblock van, queue for specials etc.

Well after a rough two weeks of been constantly questioned, monitored, spied on my walk and the last last resort from this manager to try and harrass and bully me to not claim overtime, he seems to have took a step back knowing that he can't find fault with my preformance and ability to do the job. At the end of the day i have just been doing my job, he now will probably have to answer to the D.O.M as to why he could'nt get me to toe the line, not going to back down knowing i was doing nothing wrong.
