Staging process

Confused by the staging process. If you are on a stage one and clear 6 months without any further absence are you clear? Secondly if you are on a stage 2 and clear six months do you revert to stage one?

Both stages are for a fixed 6months and if you have no sick in those 6 months you come off the process for 1 and2
