hospital appointments

Received a phone call today from the hospital telling me the next available appointment(which I have been waiting nearly 6months for!)is this Saturday at 11.00am. Wondering where I stand in getting time off?

You should be able to attend, let the manager know as he/she might be able to organise something. Don't know why or what rota or what system do you do at work. if it is only half hour you probably can do it in "Lunchtime" break depending on how close you work to hospital.

40mins travelling time and its a clinic, so God knows how long the waiting time will be.

You tell them you need the time off and they give you it as a days leave or if you have none left you can take it as special leave.
