Few quick questions. Start of the new financial year this week. Do we have a pay rise due in this weeks wage? Or was the 3 year pay rise deal agreed with CWU finished last year? If we are due one what is the increase??

Yes 2.8% - no we won't get it this week because RM agreed it too late - estimate is mid april for the back pay and it taking effect.

A rise in the tax free allowance should add an extra quid or two on our net pay as well.

the 2.8 % and a rough estimate of when its in the wages was sent out to us about a week ago by the cwu in a letter

Think the tax free allowance is rising £600 a year so extra £2.30 bottom line. 
I'll be in a year shortly so another 51p an hour
Moved office recently and extra 4 hours per week
2.8% pay rise or just over 28p an hour
If I don't start getting some holidays, starting new job hunt.

What amazes me is that it takes at least 3 weeks to change some figures on a computer!
