In a mail centre or do,tell a manager asap.
It will probably be harmless/inert but it could be
Coke/speed/mephedrone/ or some of the chemical nasties.

Also depends on where found
I won

You put the packet down and tell a manager. We had one of those during the Ricin scares. The area was evacuated and cordoned off, and the police called. We had half a dozen police cars and vans, about 20 police, an ambulance, and a bio-chemical hazard unit with investigators in protective clothing arrive to check it and the person who found it. After about an hour and a half they decided it was harmless. Just as well as it was next to open doors to loading bays, with wind blowing through, and if it had been dangerous it would probably have been blown through the whole floor.

On another occasion a manager got into trouble when he sent a sorter whose arms were itching after handling a packet leaking white powder to the A&E at Whitechapel Hospital, with the packet. The whole hospital had to be quarantined for a couple of hours until they established it was an allergic reaction to a cheap cosmetic, and they weren't too happy.

Politely suggest that the DOM's more careful with the sugar when making the coffee. :cuppa :cuppa :thumbup
