Suspended for five weeks now, how draining and annoying sitting at home even though I'm getting full pay i would rather know if my job was secure :/

I was suspended for 2 months a few years ago. Horrible feeling. They didn't follow correct procedure with me so i got my job back. Get your rep to see if they've done everything by the book. Good luck.

I have been invited in for a disciplinary hearing for gross misconduct. They are trying to go on reasonable doubt that I remotely scanned a box but I'm innocent but can't prove s**t.

The PDA will tell them exactly where you were at the time,so try that as your proof

Three boxes were scanned in 2 minutes mile apart total distance

They need to prove that happened. I'm unfamiliar with collections so don't know how it works. I suggest at your meeting that you tell them you are seeking outside advice for unfair dismissal. They won't like that. Remember you are allowed a union rep to be with you in the meeting and are also allowed to speak with the rep privately before you go in.

Quite right. If the scan coordinates for each scan is put into Google maps it will show where you were when you did each scan. If you did everything correct then this should show that.

Also, if you know you are innocent then it may be worth getting in touch with the Regulator. RM can be fined if they collect boxes early etc so if you 'are' proof that there is a fault in the system then RM may be making other mistakes.

Also, it doesn't sound impossible. Assuming it is accurate to the nearest minute then that could actually be almost 3 minutes not 2 (e.g. 12:50.00 to 12:52.59). Assuming you scanned the first box after you emptied it and the second was empty and you scanned the third before you emptied it then you'd have to be going some but it is not impossible.
