Overtime pay overdue - query on dealing with line manager

I'll keep this short and simply;

Worked for RM 3+ years as Saturday postie and did overtime 3 weeks ago; at the start of each saturday shift I did go tell the managers in which they sent me on my way for a walk and said they would sort it out - F* all has been done about my overtime. I have spoke to 3 managers via text and in person - Qs is how do I claim this back if the managers are mugging me off each time I try to come face to face with them.

It is a good idea but be careful because your dim gets a copy of the email and he might just make your life a lil tiny bit harder no what am saying

Avoid the line manager monkeys and go straight to the organ grinder AKA the DOM. When you've spoken to him/her directly about it he/she can't deny not having been notified that you are owed it, and a pay out will be unavoidable.

What is it with RM? The way they keep swapping the Mangers around different Offices. If you're trying to get some Overtime paid (that's owed from previous weeks) it's a bloody nightmare!

We have a lad that does DOM Support, he's been running the office for a few weeks, suddenly he's back working as a Postie and we have a stand in Manager. Queried the Dom support guy about owed overtime....He says, "You'll have to talk to the New Manager"! Perhaps this is yet another tactic to keep the Goal Posts moving?

Reminds me of a few temporary DOMs that we had in our office a while back...

I dont know if it was a chance to give all the line managers a crack at the DOMs role like power hungry 15th Century Yorkists/Lancastrian kings who felt that they all had a claim to the throne

Don't know why these guys bother. Perhaps they think the jobs getting harder and they'll be able to soldier on for a few more years, sitting in a nice warm office.

But Honestly the amount of crap they are expected to put up with from above, and TRY and pass onto those below, just isn't worth the extra cash (If there is any)!

And to add insult to injury after giving everyone in the Office Crap and acting like a Dick they're back on the shop floor with a Blue Shirt trying to make conversation with the crew they've been dumping on. Now that's really thinking ahead Royal Mail. I'd have thought they'd have least moved these guys to another Office to practice their BS Skills!

I went up to the manager (this time with another in the room asking for it) - promised to get it done; if it isn't on the payslip this week, email -> Moya it is!

*Yeah, my office has like 1 manager in the office one week and 6 the next, you never seem to get the person who promised you the OT! Does my bloody head in!*
