lost my pda today

as the title says. i know where i last used it and it was left at a customers door. i went back to check like 10 minutes later but it wasnt there. told dom support as no manager was in office when i got back i will tell my dom tmoz. never been in trouble before or lost a pda. whats the likelyhood of me getting the sack. im brickin it

I've seen people lose them, luckily for them reserves who just take a random one out with them that's left in the cabinet, so there's no way of proving they lost it as they don't have their own numbered one. It's a mistake and you shouldn't get dealt with too heavily for mistakes as opposed to negligence - if the DIM gets arsey make sure you keep stressing the word 'mistake'.

Probably get handed in over the next few days. As mentioned it's no good to anyone else. Remember that annoying habit they have of keep asking you to enter your PIN? Well now that works in your favour because it will have locked itself and no one else can use it. So Management can't even say there's any security issues associated with losing it.....It's just a plastic box! Try not to stress.

I lost one a couple of years back, eventually turned up two weeks later at a police station. Also left one in a sleeve once when loading a van and it ended up in Edinburgh. I have also broken two.

Managers don't seem to be bothered when it comes to PDA's so wouldn't worry about it.

TI lost mine,turned up 5 days later, just got a warning to be more careful. dont worry at worse could get a years probation - not sure if thats right word -.

Chillax. Battery will have expired now anyway. It more than likely expired minutes after it went AWOL and is now a useless lump of plastic........hmmmm, which it was in first place!

Best one we had lost was , postman crossing the river over a weir and yes it fell out of his bag into the weir never to be seen again and he wasn't disciplined .

At least it would have got a nice wash in the river! Some of the ones I've used are rather grubby
