If a tracked 48 was posted on Wednesday and received by the delivery office at 06:30am Friday, should that tracked item been delivered on the same Friday ?
I think I already know the answer, but just to be safe, I will ask here and await the answer.

Depends what you mean by 'Should'?
It's basically second class - No guarantee.
What time posted Wednesday? After last collection? Was it scanned in the system or were you just 'informed' the item had been posted?
I suppose if there were no circumstances that prevented it's delivery, and it was sent before the the last collection on Wednesday, then you could reasonably expect it to be delivered Friday.

Delays and streaming on 48hr Tracked are actioned at RDC's - once it is in the DO it goes out that day or it goes on a fail report.

If it was received at the delivery office at 06:30 and delivery has not been attempted that same day it has definitely failed.

Besides, it is a shared van duty where I live, which means they take there own parcels out, so a bit strange as to why it has failed.
