Forced to move office

Post by matthew68 »

Since Christmas we have become fully staffed! And the. Dom has told me and another colleague to go to another office ,how do they decide who has to move ? I have been there longer than several other guys but manager says I am more suitable! ILast week I got moved 3 times and now this week he says they need me at my normal office except sat where I have to go to another office can they keep doing this? And is it fair I have to move and only 1 other person does it's happening all the time since our rep has left and we have no replacement I am now fed up with it and I don't even no where I am working on a daily basis as he even told me sat when I arrived to go somewhere else can he keep doing this with no notice?

Yes he can do this but you start at your home delivery office and it is upto him to get you to and from the other office within your working time.do this and he might try moving someone else whose less awkward :whistle

and of course they have the responsibility of getting you to the other office in a manner commensurate with the law and agreements.

If they insist you use your own car and your office has undergone Delivery Methods revision then the bond has been removed and you cannot use it to deliver from.

On your own insurance if you have the basic 3rd Party or Fully comprehensive then you are covered only to your NORMAL place of work under commuting, not a second office. So they'll have to provide transport.

Also you are allowed to both start and finish at your office at your normal finish time.

Is "more suitable" because you live nearest to the other office ? :thumbup

No I think he means I will do any walk as it seems some people never change but others always do I thought this was discrimination?
